Country Living in Southern Africa

I don’t even know where to start with this year. What a year it’s been, it feels much longer than a year and at the same time, I question how is it over already?

I’ve been blogging on and off since 2014, but after various work-frustrations, I decided to start blogging on a more full-time basis. It’s brought me so much joy in this year, each post and inspiration, inspiring more.

I have to start with thanking every single person that took part in my Country People Interviews. I have enjoyed each and everyone so much and I am so thankful for all the friends I have made in the process. I am continuing this category with some extra flavour next year. Another Category that is constantly entertaining me and bringing so much joy is the Trailcam posts. My favourite one for the year will have to be this one: >>Trailcam Shenanigans

As for the big move we made to Mozambique this year? If someone told me last year this time we would move from South Africa to Mozambique, I would have said they are crazy. We never went looking for this, yet it was a door that opened at exactly the right time or should I say a knock on our door… And now we are here. >> Introduction to our new home in Mozambique

As for greening and sustainability, I have had some wins and some losses this year. I have made some resolutions at the start of this year while taking part in Faithful-to-Nature’s ambassador search. It inspired such a lovely journey for me and I hope to bring you some more sustainable ideas and practices in 2019.

In my personal life, I have experienced all kinds of emotions and I am so very aware of how God holds everything in His hands. How every little thing that happens is part of an interconnected web of happenings that are all working together for His greater good.
